Bold Stripe Linen/Viscose - Bamboo Shoot

A deadstock linen/viscose/rayon in a black and pale greeny yellow bamboo shoot colourway. This lightweight fabric has been woven in a yarn-dyed horizontal stripe made up of alternating stripes of the same width. The black base is woven in a plain weave with a black weft and warp, the contrast stripe woven with a coloured weft thread in a twill structure. This fabric can also be used on the reverse for a darker look. An opaque fabric with beautiful drape due to the viscose and rayon content and naturally occurring slubs throughout from the linen. This versatile fabric has subtle lustre and no stretch. Great for a wide variety of projects including tops like the Ivy, dresses like the Bloom, loose-fitting skirts like the August, shorts and trousers like the Tula, jumpsuits like the Mirri.
