Double Faced Spongy Coating - Apricot

A deadstock linen blend coating in an apricot colourway. This heavyweight fabric has been woven with a unique structure where thick poly yarn strands are sandwiched between the front and back of a gauzy weave. The gauzy weave is made up of a two-toned viscose warp and linen weft fabric. One side has an ivory warp and a deep peach weft, the other side has a white warp and a light apricot weft. The poly strands have a natural elasticity which gives the surface of this fabric a slightly crumpled, wavy texture where you can see through to the white centre of the fabric. A spongy, completely opaque fabric with a subtle lustre from the viscose yarn. This thick fabric has slight natural width stretch making it ideal for carefully constructed jackets and statement pieces.
