Shot Silk - Garnet

A luxurious shot silk in garnet red. This lightweight fabric has been woven in a plain weave with a superfine ivory silk warp, and a slubby red weft creating a shot fabric with a dimensional colour change and a dupion look. The natural variation in the colour and textures of this unique fibre makes for a hazy stripe fabric with variance throughout. A structured, crisp fabric with a dry hand feel and subtle lustre. An opaque fabric with no stretch ideal for shirts and special occasion pieces.
