Lightweight Linen/Cotton Gingham - Marine

A deadstock linen/cotton gingham in marine blue and white. This lightweight fabric has been woven with a slubby linen/cotton yarn, a yarn-dyed check made up of a marine blue and white striped warp and weft which combine to create a classic gingham check. The individual squares measure ~7x7mm. This earthy fabric has a dry, natural hand feel with naturally occurring slubs throughout. An semi-transparent fabric with a matt finish a no stretch. The texture gives this lightweight plain weave fabric a casual feel. Ideal for DIY projects, homewares, tops, shirts like the Bloom, summer dresses like the Ivy.
