Poppy Cut-Out Embroidered Satin - Black

A deadstock poly satin with embroidery in pale grey on a black base. This luxurious heavyweight fabric has been woven with a duchess satin base then embroidered with  high lustre thread in a large scale poppy pattern. This border design starts as a plain black satin at one selvedge, then gets progressively more embroidered toward the other selvedge, with cut-out parts and some applique poppies across the mid sections. A partially opaque, partially sheer fabric with a subtle sheen and no stretch.
