Shimmer Check Tweed - Black/White

A deadstock wool/poly/acrylic tweed. This heavyweight fabric has been loosely woven in a large-scale check pattern. Woven in a mix of different textured threads with a base of a finer cream wool, then thicker twisted wool and a lofty fluffy thread then a black shimmery tinsel thread and a black tape thread to make up the check pattern. An opaque fabric with no stretch and a matt finish and dry, wooly hand feel. Ideal for carefully constructed jackets and statement pieces.
